Been busy

Mon Jul 13, 2009, 11:55 AM
I just uploaded five more images, this time they are from the Circus Parade that Milwaukee holds every few years. I thought you might like to see them.

Other than that, I have taken over a thousand shots in the last three days. Because of Bastille days and the circus parade. ;) I am very happy with the photos I have been taking.

Nikon FM10 with 35-70mm lens $250

This is the best manual SLR you can buy right now, although a bit on the expensive side. It is a standard Nikon F mount so you can use any lens dating back to 1959.

Is it an easy camera for a beginner. I haven't really used a slr camera before. I will def look into it though!

Yes, it can be a easy camera to use. Fewer things to worry about, although, if your not good at manual focusing or metering this is not the camera for you. Yes it does have a exposure meter, but it is not always correct and does sometimes need to be manually overridden.

If your not up to that, buy a D40/D40X and set it to manual mode. Or aperture priority mode.
